Or step back in time and into Heinhold’s First and Last Chance Saloon, a tiny shack of a bar where Jack London himself used to drink. The bar’s slanted floors prove it survived the 1906 earthquake, and you’re sure to make new friends due to the cozy square footage. Local brewery Beer Revolution’s outdoor patio is a great place to relax with a group of friends. Or check out the recently-opened Plank, an indoor/outdoor restaurant and bar with a bowling alley, bocce ball courts, and billiards.
